Ghosts on the Brain
Supernaturalism, Spiritualism, Quackery
A collection of cartoons which satirise the Review of Reviews's preoccupation with spirits and apparitions, including 'Stead's Ghost-Editor' who stands by a tomb bearing the words 'Temporary Office' and 'Refuse of Refuse', and a 'Specimen of dreams superinduced by reading the Christmas number of the Review of Reviews'. Also includes a cartoon of a quacking duck standing on the 'Mattei Cure for Corns'.
