Joshua Marsden

Time, Astronomy, Instruments, Piety

One stanza reads: 'I ask'd the golden sun and silver spheres, / Those bright chronometers of days and years; / They answer'd, "Time is but a meteor's glare", / And bade me for Eternity prepare'.
